When I said I was being lazy, I was not kidding. I feel tired and lazy every day. This is an example of the extent of my laziness. Okay. With this post, I have gone, well, postal! Yes, I am THAT excited! It is not everyday that a new blogger gets asked to blog for a store! Speaking of… move over creators. There is a new girl in town and she is Scan-da-lous! SuzyScandal has entered the fray and let me tell you, she has got it going on! I ran into her at her store, right across from Bitch Tail and she threw her Friday new release at me and I nearly fainted from the excitement! “Game” is so versatile! You can pull off several different looks with it. And that is the great thing about clothes in Second Life. Your interpretation of how an outfit should look is what makes wearing clothing so diverse. No two people can wear an outfit exactly the same(unless of course, you have someone that is stalking you and is wanting to be you. In that case, buy expensive!). When I first tried on “Game”, I immediately went back in time(when I wasn’t even close to being a twinkling in my daddy’s eye) and just started putting all kinds of things together to pull off the look I had envisioned. Spring Picnic

I had another model call this weekend(Well Friday, but that is considered the weekend, right?) and had no trouble finding 5 beautiful ladies to help me show off another 5 awesome outfits put out by Bitch Tail over the course of the past week. No one died this round, but I did get to shorten some arms! That more than made up for Second Life giving me all sorts of hell. LOL! We had a blast and shared a few laughs. While I probably shouldn’t wait so long between blogging some outfits from Bitch Tail, I do get a great deal of joy out of doing a “one lump sum” of their outfits. Why? Because I can get others to model them! Great way for me to meet some awesome people and make some friends.

This was my lazy weekend. For those of you that are mothers, I hope you had an epic day yesterday. I know I sure did. So because of my laziness, I did not do much with the picture I took. Not a lot to do with it really. I added a bit of shadow and a tad bit more sun where there was none. Put a nice frame around it and even tried to make it look like there was glass over the picture. If I figure out how to make the frame actually look like a frame with the top and bottom going horizontal and the sides going vertical, that would be great.. but for now, I do alright for not knowing much about Photoshop. I am proud of what I can accomplish and that is all that matters.

Rubbing It In

Okay. So I just have to do this and I will not apologize for it. This here is Social Media and it WAS a limited edition, as in ONLY 50 were sold and yours truly picked up a copy! Woots! Leather, Rings, Ripped, and Shredded, Oh My!

Okay, this is not my usual thing. I know. I know. I am not a leather/ripped and shredded kind of gal. I am more into what is “in” these days in SL, but I did make a promise to a friend that I would blog a couple of her creations back in December and I am just now getting around to fulfilling that promise.
Celestial Creations, owned by Celeste Hunghi, offers a select variety of clothes from leather to well, ripped and shredded, great for those into the biker attire and on a limited budget. When I was offered the chance to blog, I jumped at the opportunity without much thought. Celeste has been a friend for a good long while. My only hope is I do her clothes justice.

Spring Cleaning

Surprise! Yeah, yeah. I know. This blogger went M.I.A. for 4 months without a single word. What can I say? I had some things to sort out. Get my head back in the game, get my perspective back on track. You know how it goes. Nearly 4 years in Second Life and hardly missed more than a week or two(There was that surgery last year) so I guess it was a long overdo “vacation”. If you are still keeping an eye on this, thanks. I appreciate the support. There should be more activity here in the future, starting with my latest project..

What a project this turned out to be! Who woulda thought that it would be so hard to get good victims these days? Oh, finding them was the easy part! There is an endless supply of them in the Bitch Tail VIP group. Finding ones that met my requirements and keeping them alive long enough was a completely different matter. All in all, two of them died and three got lost at Bitch Tail. Those poor souls. A moment of silence, if you will please..

Now, I wanted to do something completely different. I wanted to showcase a select few outfits from Bitch Tail that I missed AND use Bitch Tail customers to do it! Not too many bloggers do this sort of thing as you find most have themselves modeling off their latest shopping excursion purchases. But let’s be honest here. Are the blogs really about you or are they about the store(s) you are blogging about? If it is about you, the blogger, then my opinion is you do this for the wrong reasons. The secondary cause for a store’s success is its customer fan base(Primary being that the creator has made great quality clothing). So in this post, I wanted to proudly display some of Bitch Tail’s more loyal customers. Why? Because that is what Bitch tail is all about, its customers.

A word of warning, for those just peeking in. I am no expert in PhotoShop. Far from it actually, but I do like to dabble and express my creativity. I have never taken a single course(unless you count watching a few YouTube vids), but with that in mind, I am not half bad for a beginner iffn I say so myself. Every time I open PhotoShop, I learn something new. I actually had to do some minor repairs on the below photo. We had a wayward finger in one outfit and in another, the model wasn’t posed perfectly and you could see parts of the body through the outfit. Can you tell where I edited and had to add color?

My latest victims were a great bunch of girls to work with and we even had a few laughs! Who knew killing victims could be so fun?! I mean doing a photo shoot. I really need to work on keeping my story straight…  Now for your shopping lists, listed from left to right:

Now for some things I did with PhotoShop. Remember, I have had absolutely NO training whatsoever. I have watched a couple of How-To videos if those count. I have never worked with the Quick Select tool and I can tell you, that was a challenge! I did have fun though and the effects worked out alright.

I am actually quite proud of this one myself. Don’t it look like they are popping right out of the picture? Not bad for a beginner. The next shot, I made the mistake of saving over the original I worked from so can’t post the before effects picture. My bad. I told you I was a beginner.. but I really like this one, too!

Framed.. I tell ya!

So here I was, justa mindin’ my own business when the next thing I knew, I’m doin’ time in “The Pound”. Ya see, a kitty hasta eat. Well, if the truth be told, a kitty needs new clothes. So I was told about a job and this kitty just couldn’t resist. There was this safe, hidden deep under Bitch Tail. No one knew what was in it. There were rumors, of course, but ya can’t put much stock in all that. So I thought I would give it a crack. After getting through all the bells and whistles, I finally arrive at “The Safe”. I punched in a few numbers and that is when it happened.

 

So like I said, I was mindin’ my own business.. Oh, who the heck am I kiddin’? All I wanted was a peek. To see what Tiff Renfold had stashed away for next year. What I ended up with was a mug shot, a cot, and 3 hots.

 

I’m the victim here, I tell ya! Now won’t someone let me out? I promise to be a good kitty. Le meow?

Well what can I say.. I am totally new at this sort of thing, but I so love shopping and dressing up in Second Life that I thought I would give this a try. So this is my first official fashion post on my newly created blog! And I must say, I couldn’t have picked out a better first fashion to blog about than this seductively classy outfit. This hot number is called VaVaVoom and it is put out by Tiff Renfold and found at Bitch Tail! Even better is that it is only $L98! A long sleeved turtle neck, oh so short dress with net stockings and to top it all off is the belt with a Bitch of a buckle! Oh!
